Wild Night for Wildlife 2008!
The Board of Directors and Staff of the Quogue Wildlife Refuge extend our deepest thanks to all who made our 2nd Annual Benefit such a success! It was certainly a WILD NIGHT for everyone who attended! We could not have asked for better weather. This year, Mother Nature was one of our biggest and most generous supporters! It was great to see so many of our friends, old and new, celebrating nature and the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
The setting could not have been more perfect, thanks to the continued generosity of Anthony and Jennifer Oldfield, who again graciously hosted our Benefit at their lovely historic home in Quogue.
Special thanks to Erin Finley and Sydney's "Taylor" Made Cuisine for the wonderfully delicious food and logistical expertise! You made the evening seemless.
Sweetwater Orchestra was a wonderful addition to our event this year, playing great music that appealed to the whole crowd. And what a crowd it was… we could barely fit another body on the dance floor!
A heart felt thanks to the Belt and de Ropp Families, recipients of Quogue Wildlife Refuge’s 2008 Conservator of the Year Award, for their unwavering support from the earliest beginnings of the Refuge.
Endless thanks to our fearless Benefit Co-Chairs Charlotte Post Chase and Jeanette Obser, the Benefit Planning Committee and all of our volunteers, The Allmen Foundation, Mullen and McCaffrey Communications, and everyone who's generosity made this party a night to remember! Congratulations, you have outdone yourselves!
